Welcome to Credo. These Terms of Service govern your use of the Credo platform, including the WhatsApp bot, web application, and related services. By using Credo, you agree to these Terms.
Credo is a digital platform designed to help Village Savings and Loan Associations (VSLAs), savings groups, and similar community financial groups manage their records, memberships, savings, shares, loans, repayments, and related activities.
Credo provides recordkeeping and communication tools. Credo is not a bank, microfinance institution, investment manager, or regulated financial institution.
You may use Credo only if you are authorized by your group or are participating in a group that uses the platform.
You are responsible for ensuring that information you provide is accurate and up to date.
Users are responsible for maintaining the security of their accounts and devices. You are responsible for activities performed through your registered phone number or account credentials.
You must not impersonate another person or provide false information when using the platform.
Group administrators and leaders are responsible for managing membership, approving requests, assigning roles, and maintaining the integrity of their group.
Credo does not verify the identity of group members beyond the information provided by users and group administrators.
Credo records transactions entered by authorized users and group officers. Users are responsible for reviewing and confirming the accuracy of transactions.
Credo does not guarantee the accuracy of information entered by users and is not liable for losses resulting from incorrect data entry, unauthorized actions, or misuse of the platform.

We aim to keep the platform available and reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Maintenance, upgrades, third-party outages, network issues, or events beyond our control may affect availability.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Credo and its operators shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from the use of the platform.
Users and groups remain responsible for their own financial decisions, recordkeeping practices, governance, and internal controls.
We may suspend or terminate access to the platform where necessary to protect the security, integrity, or lawful operation of the service.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
